Max 5 is now available for download. We're very excited about this major upgrade and we hope you will be too. This upgrade represents a new era of Max programming, with a completely redesigned multi-processing kernel and a streamlined development environment built on a platform-independent foundation.

Hello from Cycling '74 headquarters. We have two quick announcements.
First, we've released M, version 2.7.1. This free update adds support for Intel Macs to the composition program originally published in 1987. M's ability to compose and perform at the same time still attracts interest from all types of musicians today.
