Life of Schwag

At Cycling '74 we brainstorm once in awhile (usually shortly before a trade show) about possible C74 schwag. Frankly, we usually bail and end up spending more time on developing software demos and building never-seen-before booths (can you say "yurt"?) and then don't get around to actually producing some fun schwag. We apologize for that.

Just so you know we care about giving away free stuff to promote our company, here is a list of things that have been given away over our 8-year history. The most popular was the Cycling '74 headband -- for those computer users who work up a sweat building their patches.

We also had 2 types of buttons -- one with the original banana seat logo in purple and the other with Pluggo standing tall.

Last, we had some "loadbang" and "c74" t-shirts for a short time.

More interesting might be the things we wanted to produce, but never got around to. These include Max trading cards and a Pluggo mask.

Beer can koozies (Jill's fave) have been mentioned a few times, but who drinks beer out of a can anymore (other than Jill).

Chocolate coins with the Max guy and his whisk, and Pluggo bodysuits. OK, that last one was a lie, but now that we think of it, maybe it's not such a bad idea?

The purpose of this journal is actually to announce the arrival of our first Cycling '74 logo sticker. Printed in stylish black on clear vinyl, you can choose the color or pattern in which you'd like to see the letters "C Y C L I N G ' 74". See some examples below.

We will be handing them out free at NAMM in January at booth 6310, but if you are just dying to have one now we only ask that you pay $1 for postage at our online store. After you find the perfect place to stick it, take a snapshot and send it to us.
