I am having trouble installing or authorizing Cycling '74 plugins on Intel Mac. How can I fix this?

It has come to our attention that some recent Apple OS updates have been causing trouble for users attempting to install and authorize our plugins. You may be getting the following error during the install:

"The following install step failed: run postflight script for InterLok Extensions. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

...or the "Authorize" application may be crashing. For the most part, these issues can be remedied by doing the following:

A. Download and install the most recent PACE Interlok end-user extensions. These can be found here.

B. If that doesn't fix the issue, it may be necessary to run the OS prebinding repair applet that PACE has supplied here.

If you are installing a plugin product and get an error saying "The chosen volume contains software which is newer than the software you are installing", you may simply click Continue to safely dismiss this error.

If problems persist, please contact us at support@cycling74.com.
