How is M supported?

We provide free e-mail support, and in addition, we'll add support information to this page as we encounter it. In addition, we'll send you e-mail when bug-fix updates for M are available.

I own a previous version of M. Can I upgrade to the new version?

M 2.6 is a free update for owners of 2.5.7 or later, so you will need a new authorization code and serial number in order to install it. To get a 2.6 serial number, e-mail newm@cycling74.com and include your old M serial number.

For owners of versions earlier M versions, there is no reduced upgrade price. We have priced the new version so that it should be affordable to everyone who wants it. It's far less than the original price in the 1980s.
