Downloading and Ordering Pluggo
Should I get the downloadable or packaged version?
Well, as a group, Cycling '74 employees-as well as their children and friends-are very taken with the Pluggo box. You will be pleased to have it in your home. And with a little luck, this box will soon be gracing the shelves of stores worldwide. See a list of our
distributors. Of course by downloading it, you'll take advantage of the frictionless "new commerce" aspect of the Internet that allows you to avoid duties and taxes.
Closer to home, when California residents purchase the physical package, we will have to charge them sales tax. However, the State Board of Equalization has specific rules saying that downloadable software is not "tangible" and is therefore not subject to sales tax. Don't believe this? Check the
regulations for yourself.
I'm interested in Pluggo, but I'd like to order the "hardcopy" version with manuals and CD, etc. rather than downloading. Please advise.

We'd like to ask you to avoid clicking the "order" button on the pluggo order page twice if things appear to be misbehaving or not working at all. This will keep you from being charged more than once for your order, and none of us want that. Of course, we will fix it if the e-commerce elves fail you.
